The Red Devils have won 7 straight, and Hinsdale Central has outscored its opponents during that stretch 13-2. Yesterday’s 2-1 victory vs. Morton sends the Red Devils to the IHSA “Elite 8” for the second consecutive year. The victory gave the boys their 17th win of the season, 3rd BEST ALL-TIME (’82 – 17 wins, Coach Richard Flesher), CONGRATULATIONS! It has been reported that Morton had not given up more than one goal in any given game all season [ARTICLE] … the Red Devils lost the previous meeting to Morton on September 6 this season by a score of 0-5. The Red Devils had not come back from a deficit in any game this season until the Morton victory.
